The Origin of Bigfoot
A number of people question if Bigfoot exists. No, one Bigfoot does not exist–A number of Bigfeet exist. But where did they come from? To put it quite simply, Bigfoot, or “Sasquatch" as Sts'ailes First Nations call him (Originally spelled “Sasq'ets”) is an evolved version of homo sapiens sapiens (modern-day humans) who mastered the art of time traveling. This makes homo sapiens sapiens the only family of the homo genus to have never die out (beating out homo neanderthalensis, homo erectus, homo habilis, and australopithecus afarensis.
Man-made climate change has worsened and modified the world into an almost uninhabitable planet. Temperatures soar above 100°F on the daily as the sun ravages the land during the day, and the nights somehow have become more frigid with temperatures averaging -11°F as far south as the equator. Due to this, homo sapiens sapiens evolved to have hair grow all over their body, to have an average height of seven to eight feet, and a more complex brain.
Society still exists in the future, and as homo sapiens sapiens bodies have evolved, so have their brains. This has allowed them to make advances in the sciences as well as the humanities. Thus, they have mastered the science of time travel and can travel to the past at will. Future travel is mathematically impossible as the future has not happened yet. The best way to explain it is like reading a book that is still being written: you can go back to the pages that already have print on them, but you can not read any further since the words have not hit the paper. Therefore, the Bigfeet can only travel to the past. They are trying to pinpoint the exact moment in time that climate change became a problem so that they can alter the past. However, they must be precise in their calculations or else they will alter the fabric of time & space so much so that the universe could collapse.
Amongst the Bigfeet is an organization called "The Guardians of Time” The Guardians of Time are the only group who have clearance to time travel. While they are searching for a specific minute in time, they are careful not to disrupt the rest of the past–they make sure that what has been recorded in history stays accurate. They will even make sure to travel back to that time and place to make sure that the event happened. One such event was that fateful day in 1958 when one Guardian of Time left a footprint in mud in the Pacific Northwest. That incident was when he earned his name, “Bigfoot”. Another one was in 1967, also in the Pacific Northwest: one Guardian of Time made sure to be recorded walking out in the wilderness, and that film is now known as Patterson-Gimlin film.
It's not just the Pacific Northwest that the Guardians of Time visit–they make sure to make appearances in Tibet, fueling the stories of the Tibetan Yeti. So, yes, Bigfoot does exist. He is just not a he, but a we. They are also not ancestors or cousins of humans that forgot to go extinct–they are more complex than that, and we should be grateful to them for keeping the universe intact.
